Interactive installation at Mad Vision
'Những điều trông thấy' (Things to see) is an interactive installation, invited participants to complete and become part of the work. Through the process of playing, the work simulates two forms of production and image reception on television. The material used to simulate images is Ferrofluids. Moving images are always created, directed and controlled by many behind-the-scenes elements.
As Vietnamese citizens, we often receive the news from government and rarely have the ability to control it. This work gave participants the power to influence visual motion/communication through simple gameplay.
This was created to question our beliefs about the information that we received.

Visual mapping for Cá Hồi Hoang collaborate with Kapu
"Freedom" inspired Rab about Prometheus - a Titan in Greek mythology. Prometheus stole fire from Apollo and gave it to humanity, so Zeus punished him by being tied to a rock and having his liver eaten every day by an eagle. However, the liver that being eaten during the day regenerates at night and repeats this pain without end. Prometheus is stuck and longs for freedom, so this work is about being stuck and reborn at the gates between life and death.
